2) Remove the bolt [63], washer [64], washer [65], washer [66] and washer [56].
NOTE: Make a note of the quantity, thickness and location of the washer [56], washer
[65] and washer [66].
3) Remove the bushing [61] and bushing [62] from the aft fairing assembly [2].
(c) Disconnect the drive rod assembly [34] and adjust link [35] from the attach beam
assembly [42]:
1) Remove the nut [73] and washer [72] from the bolt [67].
2) Remove the bolt [67], washer [68], washer [70], bushing [69] and bushing [71].
(d) Remove the nut [48], washer [47], washer [45], bolt [44] and bushing [46] that attach the
adjust rod assembly [43] to the adjust link [35].

SUBTASK 27-51-18-020-005
(1) If the fairing drive linkage is not installed on the aft fairing assembly [2], do these steps:
NOTE: The fairing drive linkage includes the drive rod assembly [34], adjust link [35], adjust
rod assembly [43] and the attach beam assembly [42].
(a) Connect the adjust rod assembly [43] to the adjust link [35]:
1) Install the bushing [46], bolt [44], washer [45], washer [47] and nut [48] that attach the
adjust rod [46] to the adjust link [35].
NOTE: For the left wing, install the bolt [44] with the head on the same side of the
adjust link [35] as the bushing [46]. For the right wing, install the bolt [44] with
the head on the opposite side of the adjust link [35] as the bushing [46].
2) Install the pin [49] in the nut [48].
(b) Connect the drive rod assembly [34] and adjust link [35] to the attach beam assembly [42]:
1) Put the adjust link [35] in its location on the attach beam assembly [42] with the bushing
[69] and bushing [71].
2) Put the drive rod assembly [34] in its position on the attach beam assembly [42].
3) Install the bolt [67], washer [68], washer [70], washer [72] and nut [73].
4) Tighten the nut [73]:
