A. Safety Precautions
(1)
Make sure that the safety barriers are in position.
(2)
Make sure that the TOOL-ZERO LOCKING, FLAP SLAT CTL LEVER (98D27803500001) is installed on the flap/slat control lever.
(3)
Make sure that the warning notice is in position in the cockpit to tell persons not to operate the slats.
(4)
Make sure that the adjustable access platform is in position below the applicable pressure-relief panel to be installed.

A. Installation of the Pressure-Relief Panels 521AB(621AB), 521CB(621CB), 521EB(621EB), 522AB(622AB), 522CB(622CB)
NOTE : On many of the pressure-relief panels, the screws that retain the
____ panel have different lengths. Make sure that the correct screws are installed in their correct positions.
(1)
For the panel 521AB(621AB):
(a)
Hold the panel (1) in position and install the screws (2).
(b)
TORQUE tighten the screws (2) to between 0.8 and 0.9 m.daN (70.79 and 79.64 lbf.in).
(2)
For the panel 521CB(621CB):
(a)
Hold the panel (3) in position and install the screws (4).
(b)
TORQUE tighten the screws (4) to between 0.8 and 0.9 m.daN (70.79 and 79.64 lbf.in).
(3)
For the panel 521EB(621EB):
(a)
Hold the panel (5) in position. Install the four screws (6) and the screws (7).
(b)
TORQUE tighten the screws (6) and (7) to between 0.8 and 0.9 m.daN (70.79 and 79.64 lbf.in).

For the panel 522AB(622AB):
(a)
Hold the panel (8) in position. Install the five screws (9) and the screws (10).
(b)
TORQUE tighten the screws (9) and (10) to between 0.8 and 0.9 m.daN (70.79 and 79.64 lbf.in).

For the panel 522CB(622CB):
(a)
Hold the panel (11) in position. Install the screw (12) and the screws (13).
(b)
TORQUE tighten the screws (12) and (13) to between 0.8 and 0.9 m.daN (70.79 and 79.64 lbf.in).
