Disconnect the coupling nut for the fuel line from the center tank fitting.

Remove the snap ring.

 (e)  
Engage the flexible fitting again and tighten it.

 (f)  
Move the fuel line and the shroud from the flexible fitting.

 (g)  
Remove the O-ring from the shroud and discard it.

 (7)  Get access to the APU shroud in the APU compartment through the access door, 3804, for the APU compartment (AMM 12-31-41/201).
 (a)  
Push the trigger in each of the three latch handles to release the safety lock.

 (b)  
Hold the door up with your hands while you move each latch handle to the open position.

 (c)  
Let the door open.

 (d)  
Release the brace rods from the inner surface of the door.

 (e)  
Put the brace rods in the correct position to hold up the open door.

 (8)  Disconnect the APU fuel line from the flexible fuel line coupling (View F, Fig. 401).

Open the access door, 3701, for the stabilizer trim (AMM 12-31-00/201) to get access to the APU aft shroud.

 Loosen the hose clamp that attaches the flexible shroud to "section 1" of the aft shroud (View E, Fig. 401).

 Move the flexible shroud forward until you can see the flexible fuel line.

 Remove the flexible fuel line from "section 2" of the aft shroud.

 (a)  Lower the aft port of the flexible fuel line through the opening for the access door, 3701, for the stabilizer trim.

Remove the bolt that attaches the bonding jumper to the aft shroud.

 (b)  
Remove the bolts that attach the aft shroud to the pressure bulkhead (View D, Fig. 401).

 (c)  
Remove the bolts that attach the support clamps for the aft shroud to the pressure bulkhead (2 locations).

 (d)  
Turn the aft shroud.

 (e)  
Remove the shroud from the flexible line and move it through the access door.

 (f)  
Pull the forward part of the flexible fuel line in the aft direction at the pressure bulkhead.

 (g)  
Move the line through the access door, 3701, for the stabilizer trim.
