 1) APU CONT

Open the access door, 3804, for the APU compartment
 (AMM 12-31-41/201).

 (a)  
Push the trigger in each of the three latch handles to release the safety lock.

 (b)  
Hold the door up with your hands while you move each latch handle to the open position.

 (c)  
Let the door open.

 (d)  
Release the brace rods from the inner surface of the door.

 (e)  
Put the brace rods in the correct position to hold up the open door.

 (4)  
Loosen the hose clamp (View F, Fig. 401).

 (5)  Move the flexible shroud from the APU shroud until you see the fuel line (View F, Fig. 401).

 WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE AIRPLANE WHEN THE FUEL
_______ LINE ARE OPEN. CAREFULLY DO ALL OF THE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR PROCEDURES WITH OPEN FUEL TANKS. AN EXPLOSION, BAD INJURIES TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT CAN EASILY OCCUR.
 (6)  
Attach the flexible fuel line to "section 2" of the shroud with the tape.

Disconnect the coupling for the APU fuel line immediately inside the upper shroud (View H, Fig. 401).

Remove the bolt that attaches the bonding jumper to the APU shroud (View F, Fig. 401).

Remove the bolts that attach the support clamp to APU compartment.

 Remove the bolts that attach the APU shroud to the fuel adapter for the APU shroud (View H, Fig. 401).

 Do these steps to remove the APU fuel line:

 (a)  
Turn the fuel line with the APU shroud attached while you remove the fuel line and the shroud.

 (b)  
Remove the APU shroud and the seal gaskets from the fuel line.

Put the seal gaskets and the APU shroud on the fuel line.

Turn the fuel line and the shroud while you put the fuel line in the fuel adapter.

Align the seal gaskets and the fuel line flange with the fuel adapter.

Install the mounting bolts that attach the fuel line flange to the fuel adapter.
