After the low pressure light goes off, examine all of the connections on the APU fuel line for leaks.

 (h)  
Set the boost pump switch to the OFF position.

 (i)  
Set the APU master switch to OFF.

 (j)  
Set the BATTERY switch to OFF.

 Put the flexible shroud in the tail cone on "section 2" of the aft shroud (View E, Fig. 401).

 AIRPLANES WITHOUT BELLOWS ON THE APU SHROUD; Install the bolts that attach the flexible shroud flange to the center tank fitting (View C, Fig. 401).

 Do these steps to connect the fuel line to the center tank:

 (a)  
Engage and tighten the flexible fitting into the center tank fitting.

 (b)  
Install the snap ring.

 (15) Pressurize the APU shroud with air and do a check for leaks.
 (a)  
Disconnect the shroud drain line at the interconnect fitting (View C, Fig. 401).

 (b)  
Apply 10 psi to the shroud drain connection at the interconnect fitting for 5 minutes. 1) The pressure must not decrease.

 (c)  
Connect the shroud drain to the interconnect fitting.

 E. Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

 (1)  Push the engine fire switches on the P8 panel to the NORMAL
 position.

Set the crossfeed valve switch on the P5 panel in the closed position.

Remove the external electrical power if it is not necessary for other tasks (AMM 24-22-00/201).

Close the access door, 3701, for the stabilizer trim (AMM 12-31-00/201).

Close the access door, 3804, for the APU compartment (AMM 12-31-41/201).

 (a)  
Hold the open door up with your hands.

 (b)  
Release the brace rods that hold up the door and put them in their position on the inner surface of the door.

 (c)  
Close the door.

 (d)  
Push each of the latch handles to the closed position to lock the door.

 NOTE: Use hand pressure only when you close the latches.
