Push the LW and SKID buttons.
 1) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light stays on.

 (l)  
Release the LW and SKID buttons.
 1) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light stays on.
 2) Make sure the spoilers do not move.

 (m)  
Close this circuit breaker:

 1)  P6-3 Panel
 a) ANTI-SKID OUTBD

 (n)  
Move the ANTISKID switch to the OFF position.

 (o)  
Make sure the speed brake lever is in the ARMED position. 1) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light comes on.

 (p)  
Push the LW and SKID buttons.
 1) Make sure the spoilers do not move.

 (q)  
Release the LW and SKID buttons.

 (r)  
Move the ANTISKID switch to the ON position.
 1) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light is on.

 (s)  
Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN position.

Do a test of the operation of the squat switch:

 (a)  
AIRPLANES WITH SPEED BRAKE TEST SWITCHES; Push the SPEED BRAKE TEST switch 3, to retract the speed brake actuator.

 (b)  
AIRPLANES WITHOUT SPEED BRAKE TEST SWITCHES; Move one of the thrust levers forward to retract the speed brake actuator. Move the thrust lever back to the idle position.

 (c)  
Move the speed brake lever to the ARMED position.
 1) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light comes on.

 (d)  
Push and then release the GROUND SENSING and AIR SENSING test switches (Fig. 507).

 NOTE: The SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light can come on momentarily
____
 when the switches are pushed.

 1)  Make sure the speed brake control lever moves to the UP
 position. 2) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light goes off. 3) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light comes on 4 |2
 seconds after you release the test switches. 4) Make sure the ground spoile No. 0, 1, 4, 5, 8, and 9 move to the full up position. 5) Make sure the flight spoilers No. 2, 3, 6, and 7 move to the full up position.
 (e)  
Move the speed brake lever to the DOWN detent.
 1) Make sure the spoilers move the down position.

 (f)  
AIRPLANES WITH SPEED BRAKE TEST SWITCHES; Push the SPEED BRAKE TEST switch 3, to retract the speed brake actuator.

 (g)  
AIRPLANES WITHOUT SPEED BRAKE TEST SWITCHES; Move one of the thrust levers forward to retract the speed brake actuator. Move the thrust lever back to the idle position. 1) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM LIGHT goes off.

 (h)  
Move the speed brake lever to the ARMED position.
 1) Make sure the SPEED BRAKE ARMED light comes on.

 (i)  
Push and release the GROUND SENSING test switch.

 1)  Make sure that the SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light comes on for 4 |2 seconds after you release the test switch.

 (j)  
Push and release the AIR SENSING test switch.

 1)  Make sure that the SPEED BRAKE DO NOT ARM light comes on for 4 |2 seconds after you release the test switch.

 (9)  Do the test of the RTO automatic speed brake operation.
