 jumper, drill a hole in the lower part of the spoiler panel near the hinge fittings. a) Drill the hole 3.5 inches from the end of the spoiler
 panel, 0.5 inch aft of the leading edge. 3) Use the milliohmmeter to make sure the resistance of the bonding jumper connection is less than 0.010 ohms.

Move the spoiler through its full travel.

Make sure the spoiler panel moves freely.

Connect the adjustable rod for the spoiler position transmitter to the spoiler (Ref 22-11-27/401).

Install the bolt that attaches the rod end for the spoiler actuator to the spoiler panel:

 (a)  
Apply a layer of BMS 3-24 grease to the bolt.

 (b)  
Install the bolt with its head left.

 (c)  
Install the washers and the nut on the bolt.

 (d)  
Tighten the nut to 350-400 pound-inches.
