6) Move the stabilizer many times in the two directions one after the other for 3 seconds each. a) Make sure the operation is smooth and there is no
unusual noise.
7) Move the stabilizer in the APL NOSE UP direction until the system comes to the full trim speed. a) Move the STAB TRIM switch momentarily to OFF and then
to NOSE DN.
b) Make sure the stabilizer moves to the APL NOSE DN direction immediately after you move the switch to NOSE DN.
8) Hold the STAB TRIM switch to NOSE DN until the system comes to the full trim speed. a) Move the STAB TRIM switch momentarily to OFF and then
to NOSE UP.
b) Make sure the stabilizer moves in the APL NOSE UP direction immediately after you move the switch to NOSE UP.
9) Hold the STAB TRIM switch to NOSE UP until the system comes to the full trim speed. a) Release the switch and make sure the stabilizer trim
wheel continues to move not more than 2.5 turns.
10) Move the STAB TRIM switch to NOSE DN until the system comes to the full trim speed. a) Release the switch and make sure the stabilizer trim
wheel continues to move not more than 2.5 turns.
(b) Set the flaps to the full up position. 1) Set the left STAB TRIM switch to NOSE DN. a) Make sure that the stabilizer leading edge moves up. 2) Set the left STAB TRIM switch to NOSE UP. a) Make sure that the stabilizer leading edge moves down.
3) Set the right STAB TRIM switch to NOSE DN. a) Make sure that the stabilizer leading edge moves up.

4) Set the right STAB TRIM switch to NOSE UP. a) Make sure that the stabilizer leading edge moves down.
CAUTION:_______ MAKE SURE THE ELECTRIC ACTUATOR HAS A MINIMUM OF 13
MINUTES OFF FOR EVERY 2 MINUTES OPERATION. IF YOU DO
NOT GIVE THE ACTUATOR SUFFICIENT TIME OFF, IT CAN
CAUSE DAMAGE TO THE ELECTRIC ACTUATOR.
5) Operate the stabilizer through full travel from the APL NOSE UP to the APL NOSE DN position. a) Make sure that the time for full travel is 43-57
seconds. b) Make sure the operation is smooth and there is no unusual noise.
6) Move the stabilizer many times in the two directions one after the other for 3 seconds each. a) Make sure the operation is smooth and there is no
unusual noise.
7) Move the stabilizer in the APL NOSE UP direction until the system comes to the full trim speed. a) Move the STAB TRIM switch momentarily to OFF and then
to NOSE DN.
b) Make sure the stabilizer moves in the APL NOSE DN direction immediately after you move the switch to NOSE DN.
8) Hold the STAB TRIM switch to NOSE DN until the system comes to the full trim speed. a) Move the STAB TRIM switch momentarily to OFF and then
to NOSE UP.
b) Make sure the stabilizer moves in the APL NOSE UP direction immediately after you move the switch to NOSE UP.
9) Hold the STAB TRIM switch to NOSE UP until the system comes to the full trim speed. a) Release the switch and make sure the stabilizer trim
wheel continues to move not more than one half turn.
