Do these steps to set the pedal to the middle position: 1) Turn the rudder pedal adjustment crank to move the rudder pedals full aft. Keep a record of the number of turns.

 2)  Turn the rudder pedal adjustment crank half the recorded number of turns forward. Mark this position as position 1 at the pedal pivot points on both the left and right pedals.

 (e)  
Turn the rudder pedal adjustment to move the rudder pedals full forward.

 (f)  
Move the captain's left pedal forward until it touches the stop and hold. Mark this position as position 2 at the pedal pivot point . 1) Measure the forward travel of the left pedal from position

 1 to position 2. 2) Make sure the forward travel is at a minimum of 6.86 inches. 3) Release the captain's left pedal.
