 2) Adjust the bulb seal to have an clearance of
 0.03 +0.03/-0.03 inch between the seal and the aft side of
 the rib. 3) Tighten the seal mounting bolts. 4) Make sure the tolerance between the bulb seal and the rib
 is 0.03 +0.03/-0.03 inch.At the balance bays No. 1, 2, 3, or 4 (Fig. 502, View D): Adjust the bulb seals between the balance panel and the rib of the stabilizer trailing edge: 1) Loosen the seal mounting bolts. 2) Adjust the bulb seal to have a clearance of 0.02 +/- 0.01
 inch between the seal and the rib. 3) Tighten the seal mounting bolts. 4) Make sure the clearance between the bulb seal and the rib
 is 0.02 +/- 0.01 inch.At the balance bays No. 1, 2, 3, or 4 (Fig. 502, View D): Adjust the flat seals between the idler hinge of the balance panel and the rib of the stabilizer trailing edge: 1) Loosen the seal mounting bolts. 2) Adjust the flat seal to have a clearance of 0.01
 +0.06/-0.00 inch between the seal and the rib. 3) Make sure there is a clearance of 0.20 inch between the
 flat seal and the bulb seal of the balance panel. 4) Tighten the seal mounting bolts. 5) Make sure the clearance between the flat seal and the rib
 is 0.01 +0.06/-0.00 inch.At the elevator inboard rib (Fig. 502, View E): Adjust the elevator-to-body seals between the elevator and the tail cone: 1) Loosen the seal mounting bolts. 2) Adjust the elevator-to-body seal to have a clearance of
 0.02 +/- 0.01 inch between the seal and the tail cone. 3) Tighten the seal mounting bolts. 4) Make sure the clearance between the elevator-to-body seal
 and the tail cone is 0.02 +/- 0.01 inch.

 (h)  At the elevator inboard rib No. 1: Adjust the gap between the bulb seal on the stabilizer and the elevator (Fig. 502): 1) Loosen the adjustment screw. 2) Adjust the screw to have a clearance of 0.03 +/- 0.03 inch gap between the bulb seal on the stabilizer and the elevator.
 3) 4)  Tighten the screw.Make sure the clearance between the bulb seal on the stabilizer and the elevator is 0.03 +/- 0.03 inch.
