Do the steps that follow to do a check of the retraction of the wing landing gear. 1) Quickly move the control lever to the UP position and into
the detent. 2) Measure the time that the EICAS lower display shows the A doors in the open position.
NOTE: Start to measure the time when the door open

3) Make sure the left (right) door open indication does not show for more than 15 seconds.

Move the control lever to the OFF position.

Do the steps that follow to do a check of the extension of the wing landing gear. 1) Quickly move the control lever to the DN position and into
the detent. 2) Make sure the left (right) door open indication does not show for more than 21 seconds. 3) Make sure the movement of the left (right) wing door is smooth and moves at a linear rate.

4) Make sure the time for the left (right) door for the wing landing gear to close is not more than 6 seconds.
NOTE:____ Do not use the EICAS indication to measure the door
close time. From the ground, measure the time for the doors to close. Start to measure the time when
the doors start to close.
(e) (f) (g) (h) Move the control lever to the UP position.Make sure the landing gear is up and locked. 1) Make sure the components attached to the landing gear do not interfere with the landing gear as it retracts.Move the control lever to the OFF position.Quickly do these steps in the sequence that follows: 1) Move the control lever to the DN position. 2) When the landing gear is in the half extended position, immediately move the control lever to the UP position.
NOTE:____ You must smoothly move the control lever from the DN position to the UP position in approximately 3 seconds.

Make sure the landing gear doors close.

Make sure there is no fluid leakage from the hydraulic system for the landing gear.

Make sure the wing landing gear does not touch, hit, or catch A on the landing gear doors.

Move the control lever to the OFF position after the gear DOWN indication shows on the top EICAS display.
