These conditions are necessary for this task:

 (a)  
Hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4 are depressurized (AMM 29-11-00/201).

 (b)  
Permit the internal and external temperatures of the airplane to become stable.

Prepare for the Adjustment

 (1)  Make sure you install the ground locks in all landing gear
 (AMM 09-11-00/201).

 WARNING: CAREFULLY DO THE SPECIFIED TASK TO INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS ON
_______ THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS AND DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  
Install the door locks on the doors for the wing landing gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Install the door locks on the doors for the body landing gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).

Remove the pressure from hydraulic systems No. 1 and 4
 (AMM 29-11-00/201).

Adjust the Control System for the Landing Gear

 S 835-005
 (1)  
Adjust the control system.

 (a)  
Put the control lever in the OFF position.

 (b)  
Install rigging pin LG-1 in the quadrant above the selector valve for the wing landing gear.

 NOTE: The quadrant is on the outboard side of the wheel well
____ for the right side body landing gear (Fig. 501).
 (c)  
Make sure the rigging pin engages the structure on the two sides of the quadrant.

 (d)  
Supply a load to the cables and move them (This is only necessary for new cables). 1) Tighten cables LGVlA and LGVlB at the turnbuckles to 120

 (| 10) pounds.
 NOTE: Adjust the cables until you can easily remove the
____ rigging pin and it does not rub.
 You get to the turnbuckles overhead at stations 1290 and 1320 through the ceiling panel on the right side of the passenger compartment (Fig. 502).
 2)  Install rigging pin LG-2 in the quadrant above the body landing gear and the nose landing gear selector valve.
 NOTE: The quadrant is on the outboard side of the wheel
____ well for the left side body landing gear (Fig. 503).
 3)  Make sure the rigging pin engages the structure on the two sides of the quadrant.
