 scratches on the contour surface as follows:
 a) The damage is not more than 0.015 inch (0.3 mm) in

 depth. b) The scratches are not more than 0.40 inch (10.0 mm) in
 length.
 4) Cracks, or tears on the Area B are not serviceable.
 5) If there is distortion in Area B, the limits are as

 follows:
 NOTE: To find if a fan blade has distortion, compare it to

 a) No more than 0.34 inch (8.0 mm) out of contour in two locations. b) The length (D) must be more than six times the depth
