 Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR/1(2) pushbutton switch is off.

 Put a warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC.

 Clean the inspection area with CLEANING AGENTS (Material No. 11-004) and a lint-free cotton cloth MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-003), if necessary.

 Make sure that the surface of the inspection area is clean and smooth.

 (3)
 Do a visual check of the inspection area for damage or discontinuities.

 (4)
 Make sure that there is no:

 (a)
 Corrosion damage:

 -If you find corrosion damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 512200,P.Block 001) for types, inspection, removal and corrosion protection.

 (b)
 Other damage (cracks, scratches, stress, marks, dents, bumps...):

 -If you find this type of damage, refer to the Structural Repair Manual (Ref. SRM 511100,P.Block 001) for damage classification and corrective action.
 4. Procedure

 A. Inspection
 (Ref. Fig. 603/TASK 54-51-00-991-058)

R (1) Do a special detailed inspection of the forward and aft attachment R bolt holes of the end of the lower arms. This inspection is R applicable aft of RIB1 (Ref. NTM 545102-P.Block-401).
 (a)
 For the hole inspection with movements 1 to 3: Do the inspection on each side of each pylon.

 (b)
 For the hole inspection with movement 4: Do the inspection on the internal side for the left pylon. Do the inspection on the external side for the right pylon.

 NOTE : If you find damage, do a check of the eight bolts.

 (2) Make a report of damage after NDT inspection:
