 A. Get Access
 (1)
 Open the AFT cargo-compartment door (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-001) to get access to the inner side of the Bulk cargo-compartment door (referred to as the Bulk cargo door).

 (2)
 Put the access platform in position below the AFT cargo-compartment door.

 (3)
 Remove the lining from the Bulk cargo compartment door (referred to as Bulk door) and the insulation packs from the work area (Ref. TASK 52-33-13-000-001).

 (4)
 If necessary, open the Bulk door sufficiently to get access to the applicable components (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-006).

 (5)
 Safety the not fully opened Bulk door with an applicable support device.

 (1)

 Safety the not fully opened Bulk door with an applicable support device.

 4. Procedure

 A. Removal of the Door Handle Mechanism
 (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 52-33-21-991-001)

 (1) Remove the spring unit (9) and/or the push rod (24) as follows:
 (a)
 Remove and discard the cotter pins (4) and (12) from the nuts (5) and( 13).

 (b)
 Remove the nut (5), the washers (6) and the bolt (8) to disconnect the spring unit (9) from the lever assembly (7).

 (c)
 Remove the nut (13), the washers (14) and the bolt (15).

 (d)
 Remove the spring unit (9) and the bushes (10),(11) from the structure of the Bulk cargo door.

 (e)
 Disconnect the push rod (24) from the lever assembly (7) as follows:

 1 Turn the locking shaft to the unlock position so that the
_ eye-end of the push rod (24) comes free.
 2 Remove the bushes (25),(26) from the fork end of the lever
