Apply a thin layer of the SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-002) to the bolt (2), the washers (19) and the nut (18).
(b)
Put the eye-end (1) in its installation position and attach it with the bolt (2), the washers (19) and the nut (18).
(c)
Tighten the nut (18) and safety it with the cotter pin (17).
(d)
Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-005) to the head of the bolt (2) and the nut (18)

(6) Remove the pip-pin (6) from the rigging hole of fuselage fitting and
put it in the stowage hole.
(7) Install the air intake diffuser and the elbow (Ref. TASK 49-16-45-
400-003).

R THESE MATERIALS ARE POISONOUS, FLAMMABLE AND SKIN IRRITANT.
R GET MEDICAL HELP IF YOUR SKIN OR EYES BECOME IRRITATED.
R (1) Make sure that the pip-pin (6) is correctly installed in the rigging
R hole of the fuselage bracket.
R NOTE : The pip-pin (6) holds the spring assembly of the door linkage____
R mechanism (which has a load of 260 daN (584.5031 lbf)) in its
R extended position if the APU access door (4) is removed.
R (2) Put the APU access door (4) in position so that its hinge fittings
R (7) engage with the mounting bracket (8) of the fuselage.
R (3) Make sure that their attachment holes align and install the
R quick-release pins (9) into the mounting brackets (8).
R (4) Install the bonding straps (10) with the bolts (12) and the washers
R (11) to the APU access door (4) (Ref. TASK 20-28-00-912-004).
R (5) Connect the door linkage mechanism with the APU access door (4) as
R follows:

Tighten the nut (18) and safety it with the new cotter pin (17).

Apply SPECIAL MATERIALS (Material No. 05-005) to the head of the bolt (2) and the nut (18).

Install the air intake diffuser and the elbow (Ref. TASK 49-16-45-400-001).
