 (a) If the fault continues:
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the ADF 1 INPUT bus from the DMC 3 (1WT3) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 34-53/01).
 C. If on the F/O ND only: . the ADF 1 data do not come into view . the red flag is shown:
 - make sure that on the center pedestal, on the SWITCHING panel 8VU, the EIS DMC selector switch is at F/O 3:
 (1) If no:
 - replace the DMC-2 (1WT2) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-63-34-400-001).
 (a) If the fault continues:
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the ADF 1 INPUT bus from the DMC 2 (1WT2) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 34-53/01).

 (1) If the test gives a maintenance message:

 - Do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.

 (2) If the test does not give a maintenance message:

 - replace the RECEIVER-ADF, 1 (2RP1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-400-002).
 (a) If the fault continues:
 - replace the ANTENNA-ADF LOOP AND SENSE, 1 (3RP1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-11-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-11-400-001).
