Attach the electrical harness (24) to the lavatory wall with tie-wraps (23).
(6) Put the tie rods (27) in position and install the quick release pins (26).
(a) If necessary adjust the tie rod assembly (27):
-remove and discard the lockwire and loosen the locknuts (28),
-adjust the tie rod (27) until you can install the quick release pins (26),
-tighten the locknuts (28) and safety them with MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
(b) Make sure that the rod ends are in safety.

D. Installation of Lavatory A
(1)
Preparation for installation R (Ref. Fig. 407/TASK 25-41-41-991-020)
(a) Apply COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-001) to the bush (5) and the new packing (6) and put them in position.
(2)
Assemble the lavatory. R (Ref. Fig. 409/TASK 25-41-41-991-022)
(a)
Put the lavatory subassemblies (1) and (2) in the center of the aircraft aisle.
(b)
Put the subassemblies together and install the washers (3) and the screws (4).
(c)
Install the washers (5) and the screws (6).
(d)
Install the screw (7) and the cap (8).

(e)
Put the lavatory assembly in position on the floor pan (9).
(f)
Install the washers (11), the screws (10) and the screws (12).
(g)
Apply a bed of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) around the edges of the floor pan (9).
(3) Install the lower attachments. R (Ref. Fig. 407/TASK 25-41-41-991-020)
(a)
Apply the COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-001) to the bolts (1) and (7).
(b)
Put the lavatory assembly in position and install the bushes (3) and (2) and the bolts (1).

Apply the STORAGE PRESERVATION (Material No. 15-008) to the bolts (1).
(d)
Put the sealing angle (14) in position and install the washers
(16) and the screws (15).
(e)
Apply a bed of SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) around the edges of the sealing angle (14).
(f)
In the cockpit:
-
put the plate (12) in position and install the screws (13),
-
put the life vest container (11) in position and install the fasteners (10),

CES -close the flap (9).
(g) Get access to the lateral avionics compartment and:
-apply the COMMON GREASE (Material No. 04-001) to the bolt (7)
-install the washer (8) and the bolt (7).
(4) Install the upper attachments.
(a)
Put the STEPLADDER 1.0 M (3.3 FT) in position.
(b)
Put the tie rods (19) in position and install the quick release pins (17)
(c)
If necessary adjust the tie rods:
-remove and discard the lockwire.
-loosen the locknuts (18)
-adjust the tie rod (19) until you can install the quick release pins (17).
-tighten the locknuts (18) and safety them with
-Make sure that the rod end is in safety.
-Safety the locknuts (18) with stainless steel lockwire MISCELLANEOUS (Material No. 19-010).
(5) Connect the tube connections. R (Ref. Fig. 406/TASK 25-41-41-991-019)
(a) Remove the blanking plugs and put the clamp (50) and the sleeve
(51) in position on the drain tube (49).
NOTE : Make sure that the end of the sleeve is in line with the
____ painted mark on the drain tube.
(b)
Tighten the clamp (50).
(c)
Put the new protective tubing (47) on the potable water tube (45).
(d)
Remove the blanking plugs and put the potable water tube (45) in position.
