5. Key Personnel
5.1. Chairman Datuk Dr. Ahmed Tasir Lope Pihie
Datuk Dr. Ahmed Tasir’s name has been synonymous with the development of
the Aerospace Industry in Malaysia. Up to 2008 he was the founder and CEO of
the Malaysian Industrial Group for High Technology (MiGHT) where he was
responsible for the National Aerospace Blueprint. He is also the secretary to the
Malaysian Aerospace Council. Through the years he has been instrumental in
orchestrating and planning the development of the national aerospace industry
and has been a central representative for the Malaysian government for
international aerospace missions and events.
5.2. Chief Executive Officer: Anthony Bedborough MSc
Anthony Bedborough has more than 20 years of experience working in
aerospace. Overseas, he has worked on development aircraft for Boeing in
Seattle and has run an aircraft design office in southern Germany, supporting
Dornier GmbH. In the UK, he has established his name working for numerous
aircraft sites such as GKN Westland Helicopters; BAe Woodford and Prestwick
and Airbus Filton. Anthony is also an Airbus primary structures signatory.
5.3. Chief Operating Officer: Naguib Mohd Nor MSc BEng
Naguib is both a technical engineer, and the person in charge of engineering
quality assurance to the EN/AS/SJAC 9100 Aerospace standard for SAM and
Stress Analysis & Design Engineering Ltd. In two years time Naguib will be the
first of SAM’s engineers with enough years of experience (minimum 10 years) to
qualify to hold Airbus Engineering Signatory approval on Primary aircraft
structures. Naguib has done technical work for amongst others, Airbus UK,
