 WARNING: YOU MUST CAREFULLY DO THE STEPS IN THE TASK BELOW TO INSTALL
_______ THE DOOR LOCKS ON THE LANDING GEAR DOORS. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT INSTALL THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  
Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 (3)  
Do this task: "Installation of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 D.  
Install the Antiskid Coupling

 S 424-031
 (1)  
Do the steps that follow to install the antiskid coupling into the hubcap:

 (a)  
Install the cup on the coupling assembly with two screws and a padded washer. 1) Tighten and safety the two screws as follows:

 a)  Measure the torque required to turn the attach screws in the threads when you install the cup and the pad washer.
 b)  If the torque is 1.5 pound-inches or greater, tighten the screws to the final torque of 15-20 pound-inches.
 NOTE: You can install lockwire, but it is not
____ necessary.
 c)  If the torque necessary to turn the screws is less than
 1.5 pound-inches, do one of the two steps that follow:
 Tighten the screws to 15-20 pound-inches and
 install lockwire.
 Replace the coupling with a new coupling with self-locking inserts.

 (b)  
Install the coupling assembly (with the cup) to the hubcap with two screws.

 (c)  
Tighten the bolts 30-35 pound-inches.

 (d)  
Safety wire the bolts.

 (2)  
Install the hubcap:

 (a)  
Put the hubcap in its position on the end of the axle.

 (b)  
Turn the hubcap lightly back and forth until the transducer coupling in the hubcap engages the dog on the transducer.

 (c)  
Turn the hubcap until the pin in the hubcap falls into the mating hole in the wheel.

 (d)  
Install the hubcap clamp and tighten to 35-40 pound-inches.

 (3)  
Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks on the Nose Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 (4)  
Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks on the Wing Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 (5)  
Do this task: "Removal of the Door Locks on the Body Landing Gear" (AMM 32-00-30/201).
