 (a) Connect the wire to the eyelet:
 -Engage the wire in the solder eyelet
 -Touch the solder eyelet with the hot tip of the soldering iron
 -Apply the solder on the solder eyelet
 -Let the solder melt
 -Remove the soldering iron and do not let the eyelet assembly move until it is cool
 (b) Examine the solder connection

 (a) Connect the wire to the hook terminal:
 -Engage the hook terminal on the wire
 -Apply the solder on the hook terminal
 -Let the solder melt
 -Remove the soldering iron and do not let the hook terminal assembly move until it is cool.

 _________________________________________________STACKING OF TERMINALS - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
R  _______1. General 
R  This chapter describes the method to be applied to stack the terminals: 
R  - on the terminal block studs, 
R  - on the circuit breakers, 
R  - at the grounding points.
R  __________2. Main Rules 
R  - Avoid contact of the wires and/or the terminals with the environment 
R  (structure, insulators, etc...). 
R  - In general cases, maximum stacking of four terminals is authorized for 
R  each pole. In some specific cases, stacking of five terminals is accepted. 
R  - When terminals of different dimensions must be stacked, start by placing 
R  the larger one, then install the others in decreasing size. 
R
R  ____________________3. Terminal Orientation 
R  (Ref. Fig. 001) 
R  The wires must be installed depending on the adjacent environment and 
R  direction of the wiring: 
R  - When the wires come from opposite directions, the terminals must point in 
R  opposite directions. 
R  - When the wires come from the same direction, the terminals must point in 
R  the same direction. 
R  The terminals must be installed two-by-two and back-to-back. 
R  - At grounding points, the wires come from several directions and must be 
R  installed in a fan formation around the screw.
R  _____________________4. Stacking of Terminals 
R  Terminals must be stacked in different orders depending on the type and the 
R  number of terminals. 
R  - Two-terminal installation 
R  Case of two copper terminals
