 If the electrical power is necessary, do the precautions for flight configuration (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-860-001) before you open the LGCIU circuit breakers.

 A. Installation of the Rigging Pins (Ref. Fig. 505/TASK 32-33-00-991-013)
 (1) Install the RIGGING PIN (98A27801001000) at position Pin 12 and Pin 1.
 (2) Install the RIGGING PIN (98DNSA20208060) at position Pin 2 and Pin 11.
 (3) Make sure that the related parts are locked.
 NOTE : If the rigging pins can not be installed, adjust the MLG____ mechanical system (Ref. TASK 32-33-00-820-004).

R  B. Adjustment of the cables (1) and (2)
R R R  (1) Attach the tensiometer to the cable (1) at position A in the forward cargo compartment, zone 131(132). Make sure that the tensiometer is attached a minimum of 80 mm (3.1496 in.) away from pulleys or turnbuckles.
 (2) Get the ambient temperature and the temperature of the underfloor area.
 (3) Remove the two locking clips (16) from the turnbuckle body (17) between the cables (1) and (2).
 (4) Plot the ambient and underfloor temperature points on the graph and find the correct tension value. (Ref. Fig. 508/TASK 32-33-00-991-014)
 NOTE : When the points of the ambient temperature and the underfloor____ temperature meet between the given lines of tension, then the correct tension reading will be calculated by linear extrapolation. (See the example on the graph). (Ref. Fig. 508/TASK 32-33-00-991-014)

R  (5) Operate the tensiometer. If necessary, adjust the turnbuckle body 
R  (17) until the tensiometer shows the same value as you found on the

R  NOTE : Get five tensiometer indications from the same position on the____ 
R  cable. Use the middle indication as the correct value. Ignore 
R  the two lowest and the two highest indication values.
 (6) Release the tensiometer.

R  (7) Safety the ends of the cables (1) and (2) and the turnbuckle body 
R  (17) with the two locking clips (16). 
R  NOTE : If necessary, increase the cable tension to align the locking____ 
R  clips (16) and the turnbuckle body (17). Do not decrease the 
R  cable tension to align the locking clips (16) and the 
R  turnbuckle body (17). 
R  (8) Remove the tensiometer.
