Procedure

 S 222-006
 (1)  Do the Forward Nose Wheel Well Doors Inspection/Check task.
 S 092-007
 WARNING:_______REFER TO AMM 32-00-30/201, FOR THE LOCK REMOVAL PROCEDURE. THE DOORS CAN CLOSE QUICKLY IF YOU DO NOT REMOVE THE DOOR LOCKS CORRECTLY. THIS CAN CAUSE INJURY TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT.
 (2)  
Remove the door lock of the nose landing gear (AMM 32-00-30/201).

 (3)  
Move the release handle of the ground door to the door close position to retract the operator rods.

 (4)  
Install the forward wheel well doors:

 (a)  
Lubricate the bolt shanks and threads, and the bushing sleeves with grease.

 (b)  
Put the forward doors (1 and 2, Fig. 201) in position, and install the center and aft hinge bolts (8) with countersunk washers (9) below the head (View C, Fig. 201).

 NOTE: Do not install the forward hinge bolt until the center
____ and the aft hinges are completely aligned and installed.
 (c)  
Install the spacers (13), bushings (10), the flat washers (11) and the nuts (12).

 (d)  
Install the washer (14) and the bolt (15).

 (e)  Install the forward hinge bolt (3), include the washers (4 and 6) and the spacer (5), and install the nut (7) (View B, Fig. 201).
 NOTE: If you can not install the bolt (3) because of a
____ misalignment, you can use force to align the hinge if the misalignment is not more than 0.20 inch.
 1)  If the misalignment is more than 0.20 inch, make sure the forward body hinge is in line with the center and the aft hinges 0.03 inch. a) If the forward body hinge is not in line with the
 center and the aft hinge in 0.03 inch, adjust the forward hinge as follows: 1 Remove the forward skin fairing at the edge of the
_ wheel well below the hinges. 2 Remove the attach bolts of the forward body hinge.
_ Add or remove the shims as necessary (between the hinge serrated plate and the sidewall) to align the hinge correctly.
 3  Install the hinge fitting to the sidewall and
_ install the forward hinge fitting bolt through the body and the door hinge.
 b)  Repair or replace the door if the condition that follows occurs: (Door hinges are not aligned.) 1 The center and the aft body hinges are in 0.03 inch
_ of each other. 2 The quantity the hinges are not aligned is more
_
 than 0.20 inch.

 (5)  
Do the Forward Nose Wheel Well Door Adjustment task.

 (6)  
Install the bonding straps:

 (a)  
Clean the faying surfaces to make an electrical bond.

 (b)  
Install the straps with the screws (16) and washers (17, 18, and 19) (Fig. 201).

 S 222-012
 (7)  Do a check of the electrical bond between the structure and the doors.
 NOTE: The resistance should not be more than 0.5 milliohms.

 (8)  
If the door actuator, the door, or a linkage component is replaced, rig the door/actuator:

 (a)  
Disconnect the door operator rods from the door.
