Cabin master temperature, and selected and actual temperatures for the flight deck, upper deck, cabin zones A through E and the forward, aft, and bulk cargo compartments are displayed by white colored digital readouts. The selected temperatures are displayed by the small characters and the actual temperatures are displayed by the large characters.
(b)
For freighter airplanes, the crew rest selected and actual temperatures are shown and the cabin zones are FWD and AFT (instead of A thru E).
(c)
A single aft cargo temperature configuration (combined cargo heat or air conditioning) will be displayed whenever the aft cargo temperature input from the Zone Temperature Controller (ZTC) is valid or the bulk cargo heat is disabled, otherwise, both the aft and bulk cargo temperatures are displayed.
(d)
The temperature readouts are displayed in units of °F (Fahrenheit) or °C (Celsius) as transmitted by the ZTC. If any of the actual temperatures become invalid, a secondary source is provided by the Pack Temperature Controller (PTC). The units of the temperature displays are indicated above the cabin master temperature readout.

Outflow Valves
(a) Left and right outflow valve positions are indicated by analog pointers translating along a round dial scale. The top of the dial represents a full open valve position and the bottom represents full closed. The control mode is annunciated by a white colored AUTO message for automatic control or an amber colored MAN message for manual control.

Pack Control Status
(a) The status of the controlling PTC for each pack is annunciated by a white colored message enclosed by a white circle. If PTC A is controlling a pack, the message A will be enclosed by the circle for the respective pack. If PTC B is controlling a pack, the message B will be enclosed by the circle for the respective pack. If either PTC A or PTC B is controlling a pack, and the pack flow switch is in the OFF position, the message OFF will be enclosed by the circle for the respective pack. If neither PTC A or PTC B is controlling a pack, the message will be blanked and only the respective white colored circle will be displayed. If both PTCs fail, a low intensity circle will be displayed to indicate invalid data.

(5) APU and Bleed Isolation Valves
(a) APU and bleed isolation valve status is indicated by colored symbology. Valve positions are displayed by two parallel lines within a circle. For an OPEN VALVE symbol, the parallel lines overlay the bleed line. For a CLOSED VALVE symbol, the parallel lines are perpendicular to the bleed line. For invalid data, the valve symbol is replaced by a low intensity white circle. The following table represents the display logic for the APU isolation valve and bleed isolation valves.
