 (3)  Install the new O-ring (3) correctly on the differential motor
 shaft.

 (4)  Make sure the mating surfaces of the hydraulic motor and the
 differential housing are clean.

 (5)  Install the hydraulic motor:
 (a) Engage the hydraulic motor shaft with the splines on the
 differential motor shaft.
 1) Align the motor mounting flange with the holes in the
 differential housing.
 2) Lift the hydraulic motor into its position.
 (b) Install the bolts (9), washers (10), and nuts (14).
 (c) Install the bolts (5), washers (10), and nuts (14).
 (d) For a new hydraulic motor,
 install the hydraulic fittings:
 1) Apply the assembly lube to the O-rings (11, 16, and 21),
 the backup rings (17 and 20), the fitting threads of the
 adapters (18 and 19), of the elbows (13 and 22), and of the
 plug (25).
 2) Install the O-ring (16), the backup ring (17) and the
 adapter (18).
 3) Install the O-ring (21), the backup ring (20), and the
 adapter (19).
 4) Install the O-ring (11), the union (12), and the elbow
 (13).
 5) Install the O-ring (11), the nut (23), and the elbow (22).
 Align the elbow (22) as shown in Fig. 401.
 6) Install the O-ring (24) and the plug (25).

 (6)  If the filter module is installed, do the procedure to replace the
 filter element (AMM 27-41-15/401).

 (7)  Connect the hydraulic lines.

 (8)  Apply the corrosion inhibiting primer to the open metal surfaces
