Do the following steps in sequence: 1) Remove the bolts attaching the side guide assembly to the aircraft structure. 2) Disengage the unit from the rail and nut assembly and the aircraft structure. 3) Remove the rail and nut assembly from the next side guide

 assembly.
 4) Repeat these steps forward to STA 480.

 NOTE: To correctly join the continuous side guide components to each
____ other, install them in the specified sequence from the forward to the aft sections of the cargo compartment.

 CAUTION:_______DO NOT USE SELF-LOCKING NUTS AGAIN. ALWAYS REPLACE THEM WITH NEW LOCK NUTS.
 (1)  
Install the end guide assemblies to the aircraft structure at STA 480 with the 2 bolts removed at this location.

 (2)  
To install the continuous side guides between STA 480 and STA 560 do the following steps in sequence:

 (a)  
Put the rail and nut assembly on the rectangular nose of the previously installed unit.

 (b)  
Put the rectangular nose of the next side guide unit on the rail and nut assembly.

 (c)  
Attach the side guide assembly to the aircraft structure using the bolts together with the washers removed at this location Use new nuts.

 (d)  
Repeat these steps until the continuous side guides are installed to STA 560.

 (e)  
At STA 480, install the adaptor together with the profile attachment between the Boeing rail and the rail and nut assembly.

 (f)  Install the profile supports and clamps together with the plates on the rail and nut assembly.

 (3)  To install the forward entrance roller at the forward side of the cargo entrance door:
 (a)  
Put the guide rail into the rectangular nose of the side guide assembly at STA 560.

 (b)  
Position the shear plate together with the entrance roller on the aircraft structure.

 NOTE: Make sure the rectangular nose of the entrance roller
____ fits with the previously installed guide rail.
 (c)  Attach the entrance roller to the aircraft structure.

 (4)  To install the aft entrance roller at the cargo compartment doorway:
 (a)  
Remove the cotter pins together with the washers from the shafts.

 (b)  
Remove the shafts and separate the bracket and housing assembly.

 (c)  
Attach the bracket to the aircraft structure using the 8 screws washers and nuts removed at this location.

 (d)  
Put the housing assembly on the bracket and the aircraft structure.

 (e)  
Attach the housing assembly to the bracket using the 2 shafts.

 (f)  
Install the washers and cotter pins on the shafts.
