Re-connect the actuator to the crank.
Do these steps to adjust the remaining guide rails.
NOTE: Do these steps for each guide rail other than the
____ guide rail that is above the actuator. Start with the guide rails that are nearest to the actuator and adjust each guide rail as you work away from the actuator.
1) Measure Dimension A for the guide rail (Fig. 401).
NOTE: Dimension A is the distance between the top flat
____ surface of the guide rail and the top edge of the guide rail support.

2) Disconnect the applicable rod assembly and adjust it until Dimension A equals the dimension shown in Figure 401.
NOTE: Temporarily re-connect the rod assembly to find
____ if Dimension A is correct.
NOTE:____Do not adjust the preset rod assembly. The preset rod assembly is the short rod above the actuator (this rod is not used for the aft guide rails in the forward cargo compartment).
(f)
Lubricate the push-fit bushings with grease. Connect the rod assembly.
(g)
For the applicable lateral guide rail actuator, remove the DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close these circuit breakers: 1) P86 Forward Lower Cargo Equipment Panel
a) BAY 2 RIGHT PDU
b) BAY 2 LEFT PDU
c) LATERAL GUIDE FWD
d) LATERAL GUIDE AFT
2) P59 Aft Lower Cargo Equipment Panel a) BAY 9 RIGHT PDU b) BAY 9 LEFT PDU c) BAY 10 RIGHT PDU d) BAY 10 LEFT PDU e) LATERAL GUIDE ACTUATOR f) AFT LATERAL GUIDE

(6) Do the steps above to operate the guide rails up and down again, and then make sure that Dimension A is correct at the guide rails.
H. Put the Airplane to Its Usual Condition.

Install the structural door assembly with the splitter rail at Sta 664 and 1852 (BL 0.0).

Install the ball-transfer panels removed for access
(Ref 25-53-15/401).

Push the caution light on the control panel to turn off the light that flashes.

(4) S 094-027Remove the safety barrier from the cargo doorway if it is necessary.
(5) S 414-028Close the cargo door if it is necessary (Ref 52-34-00/001).
(6) S 864-039Remove electrical power if it is not necessary (Ref 24-22-00/201).
