nuts on the wheel well side, as you remove the bolts from the access opening side that attach the housing assembly to the wheel well structure.
 2)  Have the person in the wheel well remove the bolts that attach the housing assembly to the wheel well structure from the bottom.
 3)  Use a wooden or plastic scraper to carefully separate the support assembly from the wheel well structure, as a sealant certified for a pressure difference between mating surfaces is between them.
 4)  Lift the housing assembly, plate assembly, shaft assembly, and quadrant assembly together as a single unit from the wheel well structure.
 NOTE: Make sure you mark the locations and positions
____ of any laminated shims for later installation.

 (3)  S 424-032Apply a layer of pressure sealant on the housing assembly surfaces that will touch the wheel well structure.
 (4)  S 424-015Put the lower end of the shaft of the unit made of the housing assembly, spring plate assembly, shaft assembly, and quadrant assembly through the hole in the support fitting so the holes in the base of the housing assembly align with the holes in the wheel well structure.
 (5)  S 424-033Apply a thin layer of corrosion preventative compound to the threads and surfaces of the fasteners that are used to attach the housing assembly to the wheel well structure.
