 CAUTION: DO NOT CLOSE THE DOOR UNTIL 5 MINUTES AFTER YOU OPEN IT.
_______ DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR UNTIL 5 MINUTES AFTER YOU CLOSE IT. IF YOU DO NOT STOP THE OPERATION OF THE DOOR, THE THERMAL PROTECTIVE SWITCH IN THE LIFT POWER UNIT WILL OPEN.
 (i)  Move the external door control switch to the CLOSE position until the door is fully closed and electrical operation stops.
 NOTE: The door will stop shortly when the door moves
____ between the lift mechanism and hook mechanism. This is because of the lost motion in the slip joints of the rotary actuator links.
 (j)  
Make sure the indications and operation are as follows: 1) The DOOR UP lights go off as the door starts to move. 2) The LATCHES CLOSED lights come on when the electrical

 operation stops. 3) The door is fully closed in approximately 66 seconds.

 (k)  
Lift and stow the master latch lock handle.

 (l)  
Make sure the indications and operation are as follows: 1) The mechanism operates smoothly with no interference with

 the latch cams. 2) The SIDE CARGO DR (CAUTION) message on EICAS goes off. 3) The LATCHES CLOSED lights on the control panels go off. 4) The pressure relief doors close to the usual not
 pressurized position (top of door up to 0.50 inch inboard of door skin). 5) The POWER ON lights on the control panels stay on.
