(i)  AIRPLANES WITH THE ETC; Connect the receptacle for the ETC, D10140, to the fitting on the upper shroud.

 (11) Connect the airplane bonding jumper to the upper shroud with the bolt, four washers, and nut (Ref Standard Wiring Practices Manual).
 (a)  Make sure the bonding resistance is a maximum of 0.0025 ohms (Ref Standard Wiring Practices Manual).

 (12) Connect the pressure line:
 (a)  Remove the plug from the pneumatic actuator for the shutoff valve for the cooling air.
 NOTE: To get to the pneumatic actuator and the pressure line,
____ go through the access door for the stabilizer trim.
 (b)  
Remove the cap from the pressure line.

 (c)  
Connect the pressure line to the pneumatic actuator for the shutoff valve for the cooling air.

APU SHROUD LATCH - ADJUSTMENT/TEST

 1.  General
_______
 A.  This procedure gives the task to adjust the latch bolts that attach the lower shroud to the upper shroud. The latch bolts must have the correct tension to latch the lower shroud to the upper shroud. The latch bolts must have a latch nut and a jamnut installed.
 B.  Do the adjustment task with the lower shroud installed and all the latches closed.
 C.  You can get access to the APU shroud latches through the APU cowl door.

 B.  Procedure
 S 865-002
 (1)  Set the switch and the circuit breaker:
 (a)  
Set the APU master switch on the P5 forward overhead panel to the OFF position and attach a DO-NOT-OPERATE tag.

 (b)  
Open this circuit breaker and attach a DO-NOT-CLOSE tag: 1) E3-3 Electrical Shelf, APU Control Unit

 (2)  Open the APU cowl door:
 (a)  
Open the latches for the APU cowl door.

 (b)  
Open the APU cowl door.

 (c)  
Connect the door support rods.

 (3)  Adjust the APU shroud latches:
 (a)  Open one shroud latch assembly.
 1)  While you open the latch assembly, measure the quantity of force that is necessary to open the latch.
