 S 164-019
 (1)  Clean these surfaces with the solvent and dry them with a lintfree cloth.
 (a)  
All of the machined surfaces on the fueling receptacle manifold

 (b)  
The O-ring grooves of the check valves

 (c)  
The O-ring grooves of the elbow assemblies.

 S 434-020
 (2)  Install new O-rings, lightly lubricated with fuel, on the check valves and the elbow assemblies.

 CAUTION: DO NOT LOOSEN THE O-RINGS OR PUSH THEM OUT OF THEIR CORRECT
_______ SHAPE WHEN YOU INSTALL THE MANIFOLD. A FUEL LEAK CAN EASILY OCCUR.
 (3)  Install the fueling receptacle manifold.
 (a)  Put the manifold in its correct position between the support members for the leading edge.

 (b)  Engage the support bolts with your fingers.
 NOTE: Do not install washers on the support bolts at this

 (4)  Engage the bolts that attach the manifold to the check valves and the elbow assembly.
 (a)  Tighten all of the bolts equally.

 (5)  Remove the support bolts and install them again with the plain washers and the shim washers.
 NOTE: Use the shim washers to make a good fit between the
____ manifold and the support members for the leading edge when you tighten the bolts.

Install the fueling shutoff valves (AMM 28-21-51/401).

Install the fueling receptacle if you removed it (AMM 28-21-11/401).

Connect the bonding jumper on the aft inboard side of the manifold to the airplane structure.

Connect the bonding jumpers to the fueling shutoff valves and the manifold.

 Do a check of the electrical bond between the manifold and the airplane structure (SWPM 20-20-00).

 (a)  The resistance must not be more than 0.001 ohm.

 (a)  P6 Main Power Distribution Panel
 1) EP GND FUELING (for the refuel shutoff valves)
 2) QTY (for the fuel quantity indicators)

 Close the access door (6540) for the refuel station (the P15 panel).
