Fuel Vent System Pressure Check

 (b)  Install the closure plug, F80080-8, on the float valve between the valve float arm and the float down-stop.

 (6)  Install the two plugs, F80080-112, for the drain valves.
 (a)  
Find the two vent drain valves in the center wing tank.

 (b)  
Install the two plugs, F80080-112, for the drain valves on the bottom end of the drain valves.

 (7)  Install the plug assemblies, F80080-49, for the forward vent tubes in the center tank.
 (a)  
Remove the bonding jumpers that attach the vent tube for the center tank to the each of these vent tubes: 1) The vent tube for the No. 1 tank 2) The vent tube for the No. 2 tank.

 (b)  
Disengage the vent tube for the center tank from the vent tube for the left tank and the vent tube for the right tank.

 NOTE: Disengage the vent tube for the left tank and the
____
 right tank from the T-fitting.

 (c)  
Remove the clamps that attach the vent tube for the center tank to the beam that goes across the airplane.

 (d)  
Remove the bolt that attaches the tube support bracket to the stringer.

 (e)  
Remove the vent tube for the center tank.

 (f)  
Install a plug assembly, F80080-49, in the open end of the vent tube for the left tank.

 (g)  
Install a plug assembly, F80080-49, in the open end of the vent tube for the right tank.

 (8)  Install the cover assemblies for the vent duct for the No. 1 tank (aft).
 (a)  
Go into the left surge tank through the access panel, No. 13, in the left wing.

 (b)  
Install a vent plug, F80080-100, in the outboard end of the vent.

 (c)  
Install a vent cover assembly, F80080-56, in the rectangular hole in the vent duct.

 (9)  Install the cover assemblies for the vent duct for the No. 2 tank (aft).
 (a)  Go into the right surge tank through the access panel, No. 13, in the right wing.

 (b)  
Install a vent plug, F80080-100, in the outboard end of the vent.

 (c)  
Install a vent cover assembly, F80080-56, in the rectangular hole in the vent duct.

 Install the pressure door assembly, F80080-82, in the opening for the access panel, No. 13, in the left wing.

 Install the access panel, No. 13, in the applicable opening in the right wing.

 NOTE: If it is an easier procedure, you can install the
____ pressure door assembly in the right wing and the access panel in the left wing.

 (12) Install the plugs, F80080-88, to close the vent scoop in the access panel, No. 14, for the surge tank in each wing.
 G. Pressure Check Procedure

 (1)  Connect these test units to the fittings on the pressure door assembly, F80080-82, on the No. 13 access panel:
 (a)  
The air pressure source

 (b)  
The safety relief manometer.

 (2)
Fill the manometer with water to a level of 5.2 psi (Fig. 602).

 (3)  
Pressurize the vent system to 5.0 |0.2 psi.

 NOTE: Let the pressure and temperature become stable for
____
 approximately 30 minutes.

 (4)  Make sure the manometer shows a pressure of 5.2 | 0.2 psi and stop the operation of the pressure source.
