Install the lens (4), together with the sealing (3) and the clamping ring (2).

Tighten the screw (1) of the clamping ring (2).
(4) Installation of the AFT Loading-Area Light Housing (12LU) (Ref. Fig. 403/TASK 33-34-12-991-003)
(a)
Put the loading-area light-housing (10) in position on the bracket (3).
(b)
Put the gasket (4) in positon on the bracket assembly (5) and install the screws (9), the washers (8) and the nuts (12) on the bracket (3).
(c)
Do not fully tighten the screws (9) at this stage. NOTE : The loading-area light-housing (10) is now clamped between
____ the bracket assembly (5) and the bracket (3).
(d)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(e)
Use the INSERTION/REMOVAL TOOL (M81969-14-02) to connect the electrical connectors (11).
(f)
Install the loading-area light-housing (10) with the screws (2), the washers (1) and the nuts (13) on the bracket (14) on the aircraft structure.
(g)
Install the access panel (6) with the screws (7) on the bracket assembly (5).
(h)
Now fully tighten the screws (9).

(5) Installation of the FWD Loading-Area Light (11LU)
(Ref. Fig. 403/TASK 33-34-12-991-003)
(a)
Install the lanyard (29) with the screw (24), the washers (25) and the nut (26) on the bracket (23).
(b)
Install the bracket assembly (21) with the screws (35) on the ceiling panel (22).
NOTE : The bracket assembly (21) must be in the correct position
____ to make sure that the lighting of the loading area is correct.
(c)
Install the ceiling panel (22).
(d)
Make sure that the lanyard (29) goes through the hole in the bracket assembly (21).
(e)
Make sure that the electrical connectors (33) go through the hole in the bracket assembly (21).
(f)
Install the lanyard (29) with the screw (27), the washers (28) and the nut (34) on the loading-area light-housing (30).
(g)
Make sure that the electrical connectors are clean and in the correct condition.
(h)
Use the INSERTION/REMOVAL TOOL (M81969-14-02) to connect the electrical connectors (33).
R (i) Install the loading-area light-housing (30) with the screws (32) R and the spacers (31) on the bracket assembly (21).

(1) Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
R (2) Install the applicable cargo-compartment ceiling panel: - FOR 11LU 131AC (Ref. TASK 25-54-12-400-002).

(3) Set the FWD Loading-Area Light switch 7LU and/or the AFT Loading-Area Light switch 9LU to the OFF position.
(4) Remove the access platform(s).
(5) Close the FWD and/or AFT cargo-compartment door(s) (Ref. TASK 52-30-

B. De-energize the ground service network (Ref. TASK 24-42-00-862-001).
