(a)  
Install the gasket (8) between the shutoff and speed control valve (1) and the turbine drive inlet (25).

 (b)  
Carefully put the shutoff and speed control valve (1) in its position on the mounting flanges.

 (c)  
Check that both mount bolts (17) can be freely installed. reposition valve as required.

 (d)  
Install and tighten the turbine inlet clamp (7) to 50 to 70 pound inches.

 (e)  
Install and tighten the clamp between the air duct and the valve assembly to 50 to 70 pound inches.

 (f)  
Install 5/16 inch inside diameter washer (12) and the laminated shim (13) below washer, between valve lug and ADP lug. Peel laminations to provide zero to 0.002 inch gap between lugs. Accomplish at both bolt locations. See figure 401 section view A - A.

 (g)  
Install bolt (17). ensure large diameter of the bolt passes through laminated shim (13). Install 5/16 inch washer (11) and 5/16 inch nut (10) and tighten. Accomplish at both bolt locations.

 (h)  
Install 3/8 inch inside diameter washer (14), four spring washers (9), spacer (15) and nut (16).

 (i)  
Tighten nut (16) until dimension between top edge of spacer (15) and bottom of 3/8 inch inside diameter washer (14) is 0.135 to 0.145 inch. Accomplish at both bolt locations.

 (j)  
Connect the governor unit tube (26) to the union (23) in the actuator for the speed control valve.

 (k)  
Connect the pressure tube (30) for the shutoff valve actuator to the elbow (40).

 (l)  
Make sure the filter (22) is installed in the supply port tube (21).

 (m)  
Connect the supply port tube (21) to the tee fitting (37) and the electrical component assembly.

 (n)  
Connect the cylinder port tube (20) to the elbow and the electrical component assembly.

 (o)  
Make sure the filter (18) is installed in the pressure tube (19) for the control air.

 (p)  
Connect the pressure tube (19) for the control air to the union (23) in the water separator for the control valve actuator.

 (q)  
Tighten all the jam nuts and the tube nuts.

 (r)  
Put the clamps (6) in the correct positions on the supply port tube (21) and the cylinder port tube (20).

 (s)  
Attach the clamps (6) with the bolt (5), the spacer (4), the washers (3), and the nut (2).

 (t)  
Put the clamp (31) in its position on the shutoff supply tube (36).

 (u)  
Attach the clamp (31) with the bolt (27), the washers (28), and the nut (29).

 (4)  
Install the ADP turbine drive (25) (AMM 29-11-08/401).

 (5)  
Do the test of the installation of the shutoff and speed control valve:

 (a)  
Supply electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).

 (b)  
Install the ADP muffler on the turbine exhaust.

 (c)  
Apply the leak detector to the fittings on the shutoff and speed control valve.

 (d)  
Supply pressure to the pneumatic system (AMM 36-00-00/201).

 (e)  
Put the applicable HYD DEMAND switch on the P5 panel in the ON position.

 (f)  
Examine the fittings on the shutoff and speed control valve for leakage. 1) If you find leakage, repair the cause of it.

 (g)  
Put the HYD DEMAND switch in the OFF position.

 (h)  
Release the pressure in the pneumatic system
 (AMM 36-00-00/201).

 (i)  
Remove the ADP muffler.

 CAUTION: MAKE SURE YOU LATCH THE FAIRING DOORS ON THE TRAILING EDGE
_______ CORRECTLY. DAMAGE CAN OCCUR IF THE DOORS OPEN DURING A FLIGHT.
 (6)  Close the fairing doors on the trailing edge of the strut (AMM 54-62-00/201).
