 (1)  
Remove the caps from all the hoses, the ports, and the ducts.

 (2)  
If a new shutoff and speed control valve is to be installed, install these parts:

 NOTE: The lubricant must be applied to the threads on the

 fittings and the packings when you install them.

 (a)  
The packing (24) on the union (23)

 (b)  
The union (23) in the governor pressure port

 (c)  
The jam nut (33) and the packing (34) on the 45° elbow (32)

 (d)  
The elbow (32) in the actuator for the speed control valve

 1)  Do not tighten the jam nut until the elbow aligns with its tube connection.

 (e)  
The jam nuts (39) and the packings (38) on the tee fittings (37).

 (f)  
The tee fittings (37) in the actuator port and the water separator port 1) Do not tighten the fittings until they align with their

 tube connections.

 (g)  
The shutoff and modulator supply tube (35)

 (h)  
The shutoff supply tube (36)

 (i)  
The jam nut (41) and the packing (42) on the elbow (40)
