(3) Do the Test for the Shutoff Solenoid Operation
(a)
Close the SW 1 switch, on the tester.
(b)
Make sure the flow control valve closes.
(c)
Make sure the VALVE CLOSED light, on the tester, comes on.
(d)
Open the SW 1 switch, on the tester.
(e)
Make sure the flow control valve opens.
(f)
Make sure the VALVE CLOSED light, on the tester, goes off.

(4) Do the Test for the Minimum Pressure Control
(a) Turn the 0-100 psi pressure regulator knob until the 0-100 psi pressure gage reads 8 psi.

(5) Do the Test for the Normal Flow Solenoid.

Turn the 0-30 psi pressure regulator knob until the 0-30 psi gage reads 20 psi.
(b)
Feel for air at the two exhaust ports of the schedule change housing of the flow control valve.
(c)
Close the SW 2 switch, on the tester.
(d)
Make sure you can not feel air at the two exhaust ports of the schedule change housing of the flow control valve.
(e)
Open the SW 2 switch, on the tester.
(f)
Feel for air at the two exhaust ports of the schedule change housing of the flow control valve.
(g)
Turn the 0-30 psi pressure regulator knob until the 0-30 psi gage reads 0.
F. Put the airplane to its usual condition

(2) Disconnect the test equipment.
(a)
Disconnect the test cable(s) and the hose assemblies from the valve.
(b)
Remove the test plugs from the valve test ports, G1 and G2.
(c)
Install the filter and the plug at the valve test port G1.
(d)
Install the plug at the valve test port G2.
