 A. Removal of the Pylon Interface Duct
 (1)
 Remove the coupling (5) that connects the pylon interface duct (15) to the pylon duct.

 (2)
 Remove the coupling (25) and the E-seal (10) that connect the pylon interface duct (15) to the bleed pressure regulator valve (20).

 (3)
 Remove the pylon interface duct (15) from the engine.

 (4)
 Put blanking plugs on the two ends of the pylon interface duct (15).

 (5)
 Put blanking plugs on the pylon duct and the bleed pressure regulator valve (20).

 A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1)
 Make sure that the aircraft electrical circuits are energized (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).

 (2)
 Make sure that the engine 1(2) shutdown occurred not less than 5 minutes before you do this procedure.

 (3)
 On the AIR COND panel 30VU:

 -
Make sure that the ENG 1(2) BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the OFF legend is on),

 -
Make sure that the APU BLEED pushbutton switch is released (the ON legend is off),

 -
Make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to operate the pneumatic system is in position.

 (4)
 On the ENG panel 115VU:

 -Make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to start the engine 1(2) is in position.

 (5)
 On the HP ground connector:

 -Make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to pressurize the pneumatic system is in position.

 (6)
 On the ENG section of the maintenance panel 50VU:

 -
Make sure that the ON legend of the ENG/FADEC GND PWR 1(2) pushbutton switch is off,

 -
Make sure that the warning notice to tell persons not to energize the FADEC 1(2) is in position.

 (7)
 Make sure that the access platform is in position below the engine.
