d) UNSATISFACTORY CONDITION - If you find any number of
________________________ magnetic particles and the largest of the particles is more than or equal to 0.02 inch (0.50 mm) in all dimensions, do the steps that follows: 1 Send the particles to the laboratory for analysis.
_ 2 Do an engine run at high power (70% N1 minimum) for
_ 10 minutes (AMM 71-00-00/501). 3 Do a check of the MCD for particles:

 a.  If you find particles,
_ -Engine operation is limited to five cycles.
 -Until you get the analysis results from the laboratory, do the inspection of the MCD for particles after each flight.
 -After you receive the analysis results, refer to, in this task, paragraph E.(3)(d)1) ("If you can identify the contamination material ..." ) and take the appropriate action.
 b._  If you do not find particles,
 -Until you get the analysis results from the laboratory, do the inspection of the MCD for particles after each flight.
 -If a subsequent check finds particles, engine operation is limited to five cycles from the time when particles are found.
 -After you receive the analysis results, refer to, in this task, paragraph E.(3)(d)1) ("If you can identify the contamination material ..." ) and take the appropriate action.
 3)  If the CFMI Non-Destructive Test Manual (NDTM), Part 10, and Tooling photographs are not available and you find non-magnetic material that you cannot identify, obey the

If you find particles that are more than or equal to 0.2 inch (5 mm) in all dimensions,

 -Until you get the analysis results from the laboratory, do the inspection of the MCD for particles after each flight.
 -Engine operation is limited to ten cycles.
 -After you receive the analysis results, refer to, in this task, paragraph E.(3)(d)1) ("If you can identify the contamination material ..." ) and take the appropriate action.
