Push the MAN L switch to the off position. 1) Make sure that the EICAS advisory message OUTFLOW VLV L does not show.

 2)  Make sure that AUTO show on the EICAS ECS synoptic page below the left outflow valve position indicator.

 (3)  Make sure that the right outflow valve operates in manual mode:
 (a)  
Push the MAN R switch on the CPCS selector panel to ON. 1) Make sure that the EICAS advisory message OUTFLOW VLV R shows.

 2)  Make sure that MAN shows on the EICAS ECS synoptic page below the right outflow valve position indicator.

 (b)  
Hold the OPEN CLOSE switch on the CPCS selector panel to the CLOSE position. 1) Make sure that the right outflow valve position indicator

 on the ECS synoptic page moves to the fully closed position.

 2)  Make sure that the right outflow valve position indicator on the CPCS selector panel moves to the fully closed position.
 3)  Release the OPEN CLOSE toggle switch.
 (c)  
Hold the OPEN CLOSE switch to the OPEN position until the EICAS ECS maintenance page shows the following data below: 1) Make sure that the right outflow valve position indicator

 on the EICAS ECS maintenance page is between 0.95 and 1.00. 2) Make sure that the right outflow valve position indicator on the CPCS selector panel is in the fully open position. 3) Release the OPEN CLOSE toggle switch.

 (d)  
Push the MAN R switch to the off position. 1) Make sure that the EICAS advisory message OUTFLOW VLV R does not show.

 2)  Make sure that AUTO shows on the EICAS ECS synoptic page below the right outflow valve position indicator.
 G.  Do the ICU Altitude Switch Test
 S 485-017
 (1)  Install the ICU altitude switch breakout box:
 (a)  Open these circuit breakers:
 1)  P6 Main Power Distribution Panel a) 6L6, CABIN PRESS MAN L b) 6L7, CABIN PRESS MAN R c) 6J28, CABIN PRESS AUTO A d) 6J29, CABIN PRESS AUTO B e) 6J30, CABIN PRESS ICU CONT L f) 6J31, CABIN PRESS ICU CONT R
 2)  P414 Left Power Distribution Center a) 414M8, CABIN PRESS ICU L b) 414B8, CABIN PRESS ICU R
 (b)  
Remove the connector DM7950B from the left ICU and the connector DM7951B from the right ICU.

 (c)  
Install the ICU altitude switch breakout box per the instructions on the box lid.

 (d)  
Close these circuit breakers:

 1)  P6 Main Power Distribution Panel a) 6L6, CABIN PRESS MAN L

 (a)  
Make sure that the AUTO SELECT switch on the CPCS selector panel is in the NORM position.

 (b)  
Set the VALVE SELECTOR switch on the breakout box to LEFT.

 (c)  
Set the switch on the breakout box to LOW PRESSURE.

 1)  Make sure that both outflow valves move to the closed position.

 (d)  
Set the switch on the breakout box to NORMAL.

 1)  Make sure that both outflow valves move to the open position.
 S 715-021
 (3)  Make sure that the right ICU operates at 11,000 foot altitude:
 (a)  
Make sure that the AUTO SELECT switch on the CPCS selector panel is in the NORM position.

 (b)  
Set the VALVE SELECTOR switch on the breakout box to RIGHT.

 (c)
