- do the steps 4. B. (6) again for the subsequent DEU mounts until the maintenance message stops: DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2010VU6/connector 7213VC6, DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2010VU10/connector 7213VC10, DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2010VU14/connector 7213VC14, DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2010VU18/connector 7213VC18, DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2010VU22/connector 7213VC22, DIR-CIDS (101RH) and DEU mount 2014VU4/connector 7253VC4.
(7) If the resistance (line to line) is less than 80 ohms (short circuit):
- remove the DEU-A (200RH26) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001).
- do a check for a short circuit again.
(a) If there is no short circuit:
- install a new DEU-A (200RH26) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
(b) If there is a short circuit:
- install the removed DEU-A (200RH26) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
- diconnect the electrical connector 7253VC4 from the DEU mount 2014VU4 (Ref. ASM 23-73/06),
- do a check for a short circuit again.

_
- reconnect the electrical connector to the DEU mount 2014VU4 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-400-001),
- do the steps 4. B. (7) again for the subsequent DEUs and DEU mounts until the maintenance message stops: (Ref. ASM 23-73/06) DEU-A (200RH22) and DEU mount 2010VU22, DEU-A (200RH18) and DEU mount 2010VU18, DEU-A (200RH14) and DEU mount 2010VU14, DEU-A (200RH10) and DEU mount 2010VU10, DEU-A (200RH6) and DEU mount 2010VU6, DEU-A (200RH2) and DEU mount 2010VU2.
2 If there is no short circuit:
_
- do a check for a short circuit at the disconnected connector between the pins A/9 and A/10 (Ref. ASM 23-73/06)
a If there is a short circuit:
_
- repaire the wiring between the related DEU mount 2010VUxx and the DEU mount 2014VUxx/2010VUxx (Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
b If there is no short circuit:
_
- install a new DEU mount 2014VU4 (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-48-400-001).
**ON A/C 151-199,
B. If the CIDS1/CIDS BUS test gives the maintenance message TOP LINE 2R:
- remove the DIR-CIDS (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001),
- make sure that at least one cabin door is open,
- close these CBs:
49VU: 157RH (G02) CIDS/DIR 2/ESS,
121VU:156RH (M07) CIDS/DIR 2/NORM,
- wait for approx. 120 s,
- do the CIDS2/CIDS BUS test through the MCDU/CFDS.
(1) If the CIDS2/CIDS BUS test is OK:
- install a new DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- remove the DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001).
- during the installation of the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) do not close these CBs: 49VU: 157RH (G02) CIDS/DIR 2/ESS, 121VU:156RH (M07) CIDS/DIR 2/NORM,
- install the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).
- do the CIDS1/CIDS BUS test through the MCDU/CFDS.
(3) If the CIDS1/CIDS BUS test is OK:
- install a new DIR-CIDS, 2 (102RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-400-001).

(4) If the fault continues:
- remove the DIR-CIDS, 1 (101RH) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-34-000-001)
- make sure that the resistance (line to line) at DIR-CIDS (101RH) and (102RH) connector AA/F15 and connector AA/G15 is between approx. 80 and 200 ohms (Ref. ASM 23-73/06).
(5) If the resistance (line to line) is between approx. 80 and 200 ohms:
- make sure that the resistance (line to GND) is not less than 50 ohms (short circuit) between: DIR-CIDS (101RH) and (102RH) connector AA/F15 and GND, DIR-CIDS (101RH) and (102RH) connector AA/G15 and GND. (Ref. ASM 23-73/06)
