A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the ground service network
(Ref. TASK 24-42-00-861-001).
(2)
On the panel 25VU, make sure that the APU MASTER SW p/bsw is OFF.
(3)
Put a warning notice in the cockpit to tell persons not to start the APU.
(4)
Make sure that hydraulic systems are depressurized
(Ref. TASK 29-00-00-864-001).

C. Get Access
(1)
Put the access platform below the APU access doors 315AL and 316AR.
(2)
Open the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-010-001).
(3)
Set the LIGHT control switch 11LJ to the on position.

A. Oil Change
(1)
Position the container below the magnetic drain plug (8077KM) (8).
(2)
Push in the filler cap (2) to release the pressure.
(3)
Turn the filler cap (2) counterclockwise and remove, to let the oil drain correctly.
(4)
Remove the magnetic drain plug (8077KM) (8) (Ref. TASK 49-91-42-000-001) and drain the oil into the container.
NOTE : If you think that the condition of the drained oil is not
____ correct, do a sampling of the APU oil for analysis (Ref. TASK 12-32-49-281-001).
(5)
Install the magnetic drain plug (8077KM) (8) (Ref. TASK 49-91-42-400-001).
(6)
Change the oil pump and generator filters (Ref. TASK 49-91-41-200-001).
(7)
Replenish the oil system (Ref. TASK 49-90-00-600-001).
(8)
Remove the container. Subtask 49-90-00-410-052
B.
Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Close the APU access doors 315AL, 316AR (Ref. TASK 52-41-00-410-001).

C. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 1KD, 2KD

D. Test
(1)
Operate the APU for five minutes (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-003) and (Ref. TASK 49-00-00-860-004).
(2)
Open the access door 315AL.
(3)
Examine the magnetic drain plug and oil filters area for evidence of oil leaks. NOTE: No leaks are permitted.
