R (1) Do the BITE test of the EFCS (ground scanning) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-96-R 00-740-001).
R 4. Fault Isolation

R A. If the test confirms the fault:
R - do the operational test of the SEC1 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-00-710-002) to
R make sure that the SEC1 servoes its associated surfaces.
R (1) If the flight controls move according to the SEC1 servoing:
R (a) Remove the SEC1 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-34-000-001).
R (b) At the SEC1 receptacle, do a check of the resistance between pin
R AB/12K and pin AE/12A (Ref. ASM 27-92/05).
R 1_ If the resistance is less than 280 ohms:
R a_ Remove the RELAY-SEC 1 ANN SPLY (41CE1) (Ref. IPC
R 27920803).
R b_ Do a check of the resistance of the relay between pin X1
R and X2.
R - If the resistance is less than 280 Ohms:
R . replace the RELAY-SEC 1 ANN SPLY (41CE1) (Ref. IPC R 27920803)
R . install the SEC1 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-34-400-001). R - If the resistance is between 280 and 400 ohms:
R . do a check and repair the wiring of the RLY SEC FAULT R signal from the relay to the SEC (Ref. ASM 27-92/05)
R . install the relay
R . replace the SEC-1 (1CE1) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-34-400-R 001).
R 2_ If the resistance is more than 400 ohms:
R a_ Remove the relay (41CE1).
R b_ Do a check of the resistance of the relay between pin X1
R and X2.
R - If the resistance is more than 400 ohms:
R . replace the RELAY-SEC 1 ANN SPLY (41CE1) (Ref. IPC R 27920803)
R . install the SEC 1 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-34-400-001). R - If the resistance is between 280 and 400 ohms:
R . do a check and repair the wiring of the RLY SEC FAULT R signal from the relay to the SEC (Ref. ASM 27-92/05)
R . install the relay
R . install the SEC 1 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-34-400-001).
R 3_ If the resistance is between 280 and 400 ohms:
R a_ Remove the RELAY-SEC 1 ANN SPLY (41CE1) (Ref. IPCR 27920803).

R - if the warning SEC1 goes off, replace the RELAY-SEC 1 ANN
R SPLY (41CE1) (Ref. IPC 27920803)
R - install the SEC 1 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-34-400-001).
R b_ Do a check and repair the wiring of the DSI 4/3 (SEC 1
R FAILED) signals from the FCDC1 (3CE1) and the FCDC2 (3CE2)
R to the RELAY-SEC 1 ANN SPLY (41CE1) (Ref. ASM 27-95/04) and
R (Ref. ASM 27-95/05).
R c_ Install the SEC 1 (Ref. AMM TASK 27-94-34-400-001).
R B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
