B. Preparation for Installation
R R (1) Lubricate the new O-ring (3) with HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003) and install it on the filter bowl (4).
R R (2) Do a check of the correct condition and installation of the O-ring (6).
R NOTE : The O-ring (6) is part of the filter element (2).____
R (3) Lubricate the O-ring (6) in the new filter element (2) with HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003).
R (4) Lubricate the threads of the filter bowl (4) with HYDRAULIC FLUIDS (Material No. 02-003).
R (5) If the red clogging indicator is out, push it in to set it again.

C. Installation of the Filter Element
(1) Clean the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(2) Do an inspection of the component interface and/or the adjacent area.
(3) Do a check of the filter element (2) and make sure that it is clean and not damaged.
R R (4) Install the filter element (2) together with its O-ring (6) in the filter bowl (4).
(5) Engage the filter bowl (4) together with the new O-ring (3) in the filter head (1) and tighten it.
NOTE : Tighten the filter bowl with your hands only.____

D. Remove the safety clip(s) and the tag(s) and close this(these) circuit breaker(s): 2701GJ, 2702GJ.

E. Test of the Filter Assembly
(1)
Remove the warning notice(s).
(2)
Pressurize the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-002).
(3)
Pressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-003).
(4)
Make sure that the clogging indicator stays in.
(5)
Make sure that no hydraulic fluid comes out of the filter assembly.
(6)
Make sure that the fluid level in the reservoir of the Blue hydraulic system is correct. Add fluid as necessary (Ref. TASK 12-12-29-611-001).
(7)
Depressurize the Blue hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-003).
5. Close-up

A. Put the aircraft back to the serviceable condition.
(1)
Safety the filter bowl (4) to the filter head with lockwire 0.8 mm
(0.032 in.).
(2)
Remove the container from below the filter.
(3)
Remove the access platform(s). Subtask 29-12-44-410-051

Close Access
(1)
Make sure that the work area is clean and clear of tool(s) and other items.
(2)
Close the access panel 197FB.
