2.0 MATERIAL INFORMATION
2.1 Parts Required
Installation kit part number 756-0074-300-101, 756-0074-300-103, or 756-0074-105 is required
for completion of this Engineering Order. Reference Honeywell document 756-0074-300 for
aircraft effectivities and applicable subkit part numbers.
3.0 ACCOMPLISHMENT INSTRUCTIONS
General Notes:
1. Procedures contained in the aircraft maintenance manual may be substituted for any portion of
this document, as appropriate.
All substitute parts to be equivalent per Qualified Parts List (QPL).
2. Wire routing must comply with the requirements set forth in Special Federal Aviation
Regulation 88 (SFAR 88). Added wiring must not be routed next to any fuel system wiring
including fuel quantity indicating system wiring. Reference Advisory Circular 25.981-1 for

guidance requirements or establish an alternate means of compliance.

4. Installation of the Honeywell FDAMS and ACARS equipment in accordance with the
applicable Supplemental Type Certificate (ST00961AT and ST00594AT, respectively) is a
prerequisite to the completion of this engineering order.
3.1 Modification Preparation
3.1.1 Electrically ground the aircraft per AMM Chapter 24.
3.1.2 Remove aircraft ground power per AMM Chapter 24. If aircraft electrical power is required
during this modification, deactivate systems being worked per applicable Boeing 757
Maintenance Manual section.
3.1.3 Gain access to the avionics compartment E3 and E4 Radio Racks as required.
3.1.4 Gain access to the avionics compartment wire raceways as required.
3.1.5 Gain access to the flight deck wire raceway from left side floor to the Aft P8 control stand
and P61 sidewall panels.
3.1.6 Obtain engineering installation kit 756-0074-300-101, 756-0074-300-103, or
756-0074-300-105 as applicable.
3.2 Group I aircraft
Obtain engineering installation kit 756-0074-300-101.
3.2.1 Rework of the E4-3 Shelf Wiring
3.2.1.1 Obtain installation sub kit 756-0074-304-101, ACARS E3-4 Equipment Interface Wire
Installation, or materials listed in drawing 756-0074-304 for the .101 configuration.
3.2.1.2 Access the avionics compartment and remove the E4-3 shelf, if required.
3.2.1.3 Modify existing wiring, install and terminate the ACARS E4-3 Equipment Interface loose
wire, 756-0074-504-101 and associated parts per drawing 756-0074-304, sheet 2.
3.2.1.4 Perform continuity and isolation checks on installed wiring per drawing 756-0074-304,
sheet 2.
3.2.1.5 Secure new wiring with existing wire bundles as required. Reference section 3.0, Note 3 as
required.
3.2.2 Rework of the E3-3 Shelf Wiring
3.2.2.1 Obtain installation sub kit 756-0074-304-103, FDAMS E3-3 Equipment Interface Wire
Installation, or materials listed in drawing 756-0074-304 for the .103 configuration.
3.2.2.2 Access the avionics compartment and remove the E3-3 shelf, if required.
3.2.2.3 Modify existing wiring, install and terminate the FDAMS E3-3 Equipment Interface loose
wire, 756-0074-504-103 and associated parts per drawing 756-0074-304, sheet 3.
3.2.2.4 Perform continuity and isolation checks on installed wiring per drawing 756-0074-304,
sheet 3.

3.2.3 Rework of the E3-3 to E4-3 Stanchion Wiring
3.2.3.1 Obtain installation sub kit 756-0074-304-105, E3-3 to E4-3 Stanchion Wire Installation, or
materials listed in drawing 756-0074-304 for the .105 configuration.
3.2.3.2 Access the avionics compartment at the AE0303 and AE0403 disconnect brackets, as
required.
3.2.3.3 Modify existing wiring, install and terminate the E3-3 to E4-3 Stanchion Interface loose
wire, 756-0074-504-105 and associated parts per drawing 756-0074-304, sheet 5.
