 (8)  Turn the No. 1 pressure regulator counterclockwise until (0.0) psig. is indicated on test set gauge No. 3.
 NOTE: Steps I.(7) and I.(8) are completed to exercise the valve.

 (9)  Slowly turn the No. 1 pressure regulator clockwise to a maximum pressure of (10.0) psig. Monitor the pressure and the position indicator on the high stage valve.
 (a)  
If the position indicator is NOT in the full-open position by

 (10.0) psig, replace the high stage valve (AMM 36-11-85/401), then go to step I.(10).

 (b)
If the position indicator is in the full-open position by

 (10.0) psig, continue.

 Turn the No. 1 pressure regulator counterclockwise until (0.0) psig. is indicated on test set gauge No. 3.

 Set the SYSTEM SELECTOR handle to the OFF position.

 Remove the MS21902-6 Union from the control pressure line.

 Connect the control pressure line to the High Stage Regulator.

 Remove the relief valve at test port B on the High Stage Regulator.

 Install the AN815-4D Union with a MS29513-12 O-ring into the High Stage Regulator relief valve port B.

 Remove the cap from test set fitting NO. 2.

 Connect a TYPE B hose between the AN815-4D Union and the Test set.

 Disconnect the supply pressure line to the High Stage Regulator.

 Connect the -6 end of the hose which is connected to test set fitting No. 4 to the supply pressure port on the High Stage Regulator. (See Fig. 604 Sheet 2)

 Turn the NO. 1 pressure regulator clockwise until (36.0 | 1.0) psig. is indicated on test set gauge No. 3.

 Examine the control pressure shown on Test Set Gauge No. 4.

 (a)  
If the control pressure is NOT (15.0 | 2.0) psig for high stage regulator P/N 107484-3 or (16.5 | 1.0) psig for high stage regulator P/N 107484-5 or P/N 107484-6, replace the high stage regulator (AMM 36-11-86/401), then go to step I.(36).

 (b)  
If the control pressure is (15.0 | 2.0) psig for high stage regulator P/N 107484-3 or (16.5 | 1.0) psig for high stage regulator P/N 107484-5 or P/N 107484-6, then remove downstream line on regulator. 1) If leakage is found, replace the high stage regulator

 (AMM 36-11-86/401), then go to step I.(36).
