 (a)  If the vents are plugged or corroded, replace them with new

 (13) AIRPLANES WITH AN ALUMINUM, PLUNGER TYPE VALVE FOR MANUAL AIR PRESSURIZATION; Do these steps to slowly pressurize the reservoirs:
 (a)  
Push in the valve for manual air pressurization.

 (b)  
Adjust the pressure regulator for the nitrogen source until the relief valves for the hydraulic reservoirs open.

 (c)  
Make sure the two relief valves open at 60 to 65 psi.

 NOTE: Do not increase the pressure to more than 70 psi.

 (14) AIRPLANES WITH A STEEL, SCREW-TYPE VALVE FOR MANUAL AIR PRESSURIZATION; Do these steps to slowly pressurize the reservoirs:
 (a)  Turn the nut on the valve for manual air pressurization.
 (b)  Adjust the pressure regulator for the nitrogen source until the
 relief valve for the hydraulic reservoir opens.
 (c)  Make sure the two relief valves open at 60 to 65 psi.
 NOTE:____ Do not increase the pressure to more than 70 psi.

 (15) Apply MIL-L-25567C Type I liquid leak detector to both of the inlet ports on the reservoir pressurization module.
 NOTE: The mechanic may partially block the port before applying the
____ liquid leak detector if it is deemed necessary in order to achieve film coverage across the port.

 Make sure no air is coming out of the open inlet ports on the reservoir pressurization module.

 If a bubble forms, replace the pressurization module or remove and replace the leaking check valve(s).

 NOTE: Air leakage can be identified by bubbles that have formed in

 NOTE: Bubbles signify that the respective check valve in the

 Make sure that the reservoir pressure is greater than 50 psi.
