 (n)  Make sure that no failure occurs.
 (o)  Set the captain's and first officer's HSI switches to the NAV
 position.
 (p)  Do the steps (b) thru (h) until the CDU display shows the
 CHANNEL SELECTION page.
 (q)  Push the LSK adjacent to <CHANNEL A AND B.
 (r)  Push the LSK adjacent to <TEST SELECTION.
 (s)  Use the CDU keyboard to put the library test No. 70 into the
 scratchpad.
 (t)  Push the LSK 6R to put the library test No. 70 on the screen
 and in the memory.
 (u)  Push the LSK adjacent to <EXECUTE to do the test 60.70
 (Discrete Input Quick Test).
 (v)  Make sure that a failure occurs.
 (w)  Use the CDU keyboard to put the code 200 into the scratchpad.
 (x)  Push the LSK 6R.
 (y)  Use the CDU keyboard to put the memory location 3307 into the
 scratchpad.
 (z)  Push the LSK 6L.
 NOTE: The memory location and the contents will show on____
 line 12 of the CDU display.

 (aa) Make a note of the 4-character in hexadecimal code format (i.e., WXYZ). Make sure that the value of the second character X is 5.
 (ab) Use the CDU keyboard to put the memory location 3309 into the scratchpad. (ac) Push the LSK 6L.
 NOTE: The memory location and the contents will show on
____
 line 12 of the CDU display.

 (ad) Make a note of the 4-character in hexadecimal code format (i.e., WXYZ). Make sure that the value of the third character Y is 0.
 (ae) Use the CDU keyboard to put B into the scratchpad. (af) Push the LSK 6R to show the FCC memory contents of channel B. (ag) Use the CDU keyboard to put the memory location 3307 into the
 scratchpad. (ah) Push the LSK 6L.
 NOTE: The memory location and the contents will show on

 line 12 of the CDU display.

 (1)  Do the L-NAV input test:
 (a)  
Push the INIT/REF key on the CDU keyboard to show the POS INIT page or PERF INIT page.

 (b)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <INDEX to show the INIT REF INDEX 1/1 page.

 (c)  
Push the LSK adjacent to MAINT> to show the MAINT BITE INDEX 1/1 page.

 (d)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <DFCS to show the DFCS BITE TEST LINE MAINT 1/2 page.

 (e)  
Push the NEXT PAGE key on the CDU keyboard to show the DFCS BITE TEST OVERNIGHT MAINT 2/2 page.

 (f)  
Push the LSK adjacent to <GROUND FUNCTIONAL.

 NOTE: The CDU display will show TEST IN PROGRESS during the
____ 13-second cross-channel test.
 (g)  
Follow the CDU instructions until the CDU display shows the CHANNEL SELECTION page.

 (h)  
Use the CDU keyboard to put the code 200 into the scratchpad.

 (i)  
Push the LSK 6R.

 (j)  
Use the CDU keyboard to put the memory location 32FF into the scratchpad.

 (k)  
Push the LSK 6L.

 (l)  
Make sure that the data in the memory location 32FF on line 12 of the CDU display is XFXX.

 (m)  
Use the CDU keyboard to put the memory location 3307 into the scratchpad.

 (n)  
Push the LSK 6L.

 (o)  
Make sure that the data in the memory location 3307 on line 12 of the CDU display is XXFX.
