 (3)  S 865-009Put the PACK switch to the AUTO or the HIGH position.
 (4)  S 725-010Hold the temperature selector knob in the MANUAL WARM position.
 (5)  S 715-021Make sure the mixture valve moves to the fully HOT position.
 (6)  S 725-011Put the temperature selector knob to the MANUAL COOL position.
 (7)  S 715-022Make sure the mixture valve moves to the fully COLD position.
 (8)  S 725-012Make sure the indicator for the air mixture valve is in the fully COLD position.
 NOTE:____ Full COLD is when the pointer aligns with the inner of the two closely spaced index marks at the COLD end of the indicator scale. Full HOT is at the inner of the two closely spaced index marks at the other end of the scale.
 (9)  S 825-013Adjust the indicating system if the indicator does not give the correct indication: (a) Remove the potentiometer cap on the mixture valve. (b) Loosen the screws in the clamp that safety the potentiometer. (c) Turn the potentimeter housing relative to its shaft until the pointer and the scale are in aligned.
 NOTE:____ If the CABIN AIR MIX VALVE indicator goes off the scale in the HOT direction while you adjust it, turn the housing of the potentiometer in the opposite direction.
 (d) (e)  When the pointer and the scale are aligned, tighten the screws that safety the potentiometer and install the cap.Put the temperature selector in the MANUAL WARM position.

 (f)  
Make sure the valve goes to the fully HOT position.

 (g)  
Make sure the indicator aligns with the inner index mark at the HOT end of the scale.

 (h)  
Do these steps if the indicator does not align:

 1)  Adjust the trimpot, R2 (passenger cabin mix valve) or R3 (control cabin mix valve) on the A1 card in the P5-17 air conditioning module.

 Put the PACK switch to the OFF position.

 Open the OVERHEAT circuit breaker.

 Install the connector on the limit switch of the pack valve.

 E.  Put the Airplane Back to Its Usual Condition

Close the OVERHEAT circuit breaker.

 (2)  
Close the equipment bay doors for the air conditioning.

Remove the electrical power if it is not necessary

 1.  General_______
 A.  This procedure has two tasks. The first task gives instructions for the removal of the temperature controller. The second task gives instructions for the installation of the temperature controller.
