 (3)  If the cabin temperature is less than 83°F (28°C), do this check of the automatic temperature control:
 (a)  
Move the CONT CABIN temperature selector switch, on the P5-17 panel, to a position which is a few degrees more than the cabin temperature.

 (b)  
Move the L PACK switch to AUTO or HIGH, on the P5-10 panel.

 (c)  
Make sure that the indicator needle of the CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves toward HOT, on the P5-17 panel.

 (4)  If the cabin temperature is more than 83°F (28°C), do this check of the automatic temperature control:
 (a)  
If the cabin temperature is more than 85°F (30°C), move the CONT CABIN temperature selector switch to 85°F (30°), on the P5-17 panel.

 (b)  
If the cabin temperature is between 83°F (28°C) and 85°F (30°C), move the CONT CABIN temperature selector switch to the cabin temperature.

 (c)  
Move the L PACK switch to AUTO or HIGH, on the P5-10 panel.

 (d)  
Make sure that the indicator needle of the CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator stays at COLD, on the P5-17 panel.

 (e)  
Move the CONT CABIN temperature selector switch to MANUAL WARM.

 (f)  
Make sure that the indicator needle of the CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves toward HOT.

 (g)  
Move the CONT CABIN temperature selector switch to AUTO NORMAL.

 (h)  
Make sure that the indicator needle of the CONT CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves toward COLD.
