 (4)  If the cabin temperature is more than 83°F (28°C), do this check of the automatic temperature control: (a) If the cabin temperature is more than 85°F (30°C), move the PASS CABIN temperature selector switch to 85°F (30°), on the P5-17 panel. (b) If the cabin temperature is between 83°F (28°C) and 85°F (30°C), move the PASS CABIN temperature selector switch to the cabin temperature. (c) Move the R PACK switch to AUTO or HIGH, on the P5-10 panel. (d) Make sure that the indicator needle of the PASS CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator stays at COLD, on the P5-17 panel. (e) Move the PASS CABIN temperature selector switch to MANUAL WARM. (f) Make sure that the indicator needle of the PASS CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves toward HOT.
 (g) (h)  Move the PASS CABIN temperature selector switch to AUTO NORMAL.Make sure that the indicator needle of the PASS CABIN - AIR MIX VALVE indicator moves toward COLD.

 (5)  Use your hand to feel and make sure that air enters the cabin at the cabin inlet.

Monitor the temperature indicator, on the P5-17 panel, and make sure that the cabin temperature is less than 75°F (24°C).

If the cabin temperature is more than 75°F (24°C), do these steps to decrease the cabin temperature:

 (a)  
Move the L PACK switch to AUTO or HIGH, on the P5-10 panel.

 (b)  
Move the CONT CABIN temperature selector switch to MANUAL COOL, on the P5-17 panel, until the cabin temperature is less than 75°F (24°C).

 

 (4)  
Move the L PACK switch to AUTO or HIGH, on the P5-10 panel.

 (5)  
Move the AIR TEMP switch to SUPPLY DUCT.

Push the CONT CABIN - DUCT OVERHEAT light, on the P5-17 panel, and the left PACK TRIP OFF light, on the P5-10 panel.
